JUDICIAL REGISTER: Eleven years ago - Holyrood debated & supported a motion calling for Scottish judges to register all their interests. In 2021 - after a near DECADE of opposition, delay & a campaign of hostility, threats to shut journalists out of our courts & hostile briefings from Scotland’s legal establishment - the Scottish Government committed to create a Judicial Interests Register. In October 2025, this judicial register is yet to be created.
